I am currently attending The University at Albany for my academic furtherance. In case you were wondering, these are the school colors (don't ask why J). It's a great school for their Management of Information Systems program. They were ranked 70 in the Top 500 Business Schools last year. I'm double concentrating in MIS and Management. So far it's going along smoothly and I'm looking at a good Senior year.
Some of the things that we especially enjoy here at UAlbany are the fountains.
There are three including the main big fountain that is the center focal point
of the campus; the Campus Center Fountain that is smaller and is placed just
outside of the Campus Center; and there is the Alumni Fountain (shown to the
right). This little guy is placed in the center, lower level, of the Campus
Center. It's just outside of our new Library of Math and Science (come
to find out, that is the official name! How unoriginal J).
Here
at UAlbany, I'm a Presidential Scholar. One of the priveledges that comes with
that is having priority rooming in the Pres Scholar residence hall. The hall's
name is Ten Eyck and it's the best hall on campus!. The first year I
lived there, my friends and I did a Brady Bunch mock up. Check
it out! I'm Alice. Now I know you may be wondering why I'm in her position,
but I was told that since I was the one that organized the shot, and since I
was the nexus for our group, I should be in the central position of the "family".
So, I didn't argue too much. J
Last year (2000-2001) I lived in Schuyler Hall. I don't have the face plate of that one scanned in, so I can't show you it. But, it looks just like the Ten Eyck one above, so you get the idea. I met the greatest group of friends there! Our family grew very fast and very strong during our time together. Now we're all moved off campus for our last year at UAlbany. Don't think that is going to stop us from having a blast though! We're going to have more fun than ever before we all graduate and leave the capital of The Empire State behind!
I'll post more interesting stuff here in the future. Be sure to check out my ResNet page for more crazy stuff about UAlbany and its place in My World.
